Svenska Aerogel Holding AB has been approved for listing on Nasdaq First North.

Svenska Aerogel Holding AB (Svenska Aerogel) is listed on Nasdaq First North with the first day of trading December 20th2016. After being a research and development company the next step for Svenska Aerogel is now to become a commercial enterprise with demanded and competitive products.

Svenska Aerogel developpes and commercializes Quartzene®, a material produced with a flexible, environmentally friendly and cost-effective manufacturing method. The method differs significantly from traditional manufacturing of aerogel, and cost savings opens up a large number of new applications. Inititally, Quartzene® will mainly be developed within three areas:

• INSULATION
• PAINT AND COATINGS
• FILTRATION OF AIR AND LIQUIDS

The strategy for Svenska Aerogel is based on close cooperation with industrial partners to develop new applications where the versatile properties and low production for Quartzene® enables industrial production. Svenska Aerogel can either produce Quartzene® to customers who use the material in their own products and then sell or distribute it on to their end customers. Another option is a licenced agreement for the production technology

Svenska Aerogel has been classified as a Climate Solver by WWF for the potential to dramatically affect the total insulation market and contribute to global energy savings and reduction of CO2 emissions.
