In the above video, the low viscosity of Quartzene® Z-Slurry is apparent. The recently launched product is an aqueous aerogel suspension, featuring amorphous hydrophilic silica. Similar to other Quartzene® products, the Z-Slurry enhances the thermal insulation and fire safety properties of end products, while also reducing their weight. The formulation of Quartzene® Z-Slurry ensures fast, dust-free incorporation. It’s easily processed and pumpable, making it ideal for the waterborne manufacturing processes of fibrous product producers, where it can be added directly to the mixing steps or as impregnation medium in current process setup.
