NAerogel BP15 (Z2H1)
Hydrophobic aerogel, broad particle size distribution
Naerogel® BP15 is a hydrophobic high-purity silica powder with a particle size of 1–100 µm engineered with a larger and broader particle size distribution to reduce viscosity impact and increase packing density in formulations.

Functionality
Naerogel® BP15 is suited for formulations where both moisture resistance and processability are important.
The larger particle size results in lower thickening effect compared to the finer powder sized versions, making it easier to incorporate at higher concentrations without significantly increasing viscosity. In thin coatings, Naerogel BP15 creates a fine texture and a deep matting effect.
